Weald & Downland Living Museum Photoshoot

With the year starting off cold and crisp, we thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to put together a woodland themed photoshoot.

We wanted somewhere enchanting and unique to photograph this at, and we certainly found the perfect venue with The Weald & Downland Living Museum.

The Weald & Downland Living Museum is set in the South Downs National Park and has 40 acres of gorgeous countryside and woodlands.

The museum has rescued rural homes and buildings which tells stories of the people who lived and worked there from over a thousand years ago.  Keep scrolling down to see the photoshoot in full…

We chose to shoot the table setting in The Gridshell due to the amazing architecture and character.

With the theme being woodland we wanted to go for a very rustic look, with elements of glam.

Using our Rustic trestle tables for this shoot was an absolute must!  Their beautiful, wooden finish suited the theme brilliantly!  We also paired these tables with our Limed Chiavari chairs and Navy seat pads.

We wanted the tableware to be very glamorous with a touch of colour.  To create this look we used our Sienna cutlery, Gold Rimmed glasses, Sea plates & Natural Grey napkins.

Amy Verse supplied a delightful selection of Stationary, including name cards, table numbers and a chalk board Menu.

We love the originality and Calligraphy style Amy has gone for.  They look incredible!

The Crazy Daisy Company provided a lovely assortment of flowers including Delphinium, Phlox, Astrantia, Thlaspi, Spray Rose, Eryngium, Scabious, Hellebore and Amaranthus Desert.

These flowers were organised into pots which were placed down the middle of the table.

The florist also made a gorgeous bouquet and doesn’t it look stunning!

Bills Bakes made this phenomenal 2 tiered cake which consisted of 2 lovely flavours.  One tier a traditional Victoria Sponge, and the other tier a yummy Lemon.

The cake was finished with a beautiful semi naked buttercream frosting which looked divine and the winter berries and macaroons added wonderful decor!

We are completely in love with the models hair and make up!

Your Event Stylist Sammie created an exquisite updo hair style and Becky Howie MUA did the models make up so heavenly!

How glamourous does the model look!?

Outside Tie the Knot Catering set up a delicious Pizza station using To Have & To Hire’s lovely Rustic Cart.

Making your own pizza is such a fun idea and with a huge variety of toppings to choose from, there is something for everyone!

We certainly enjoyed making and eating ours!

To Have & To Hire’s Rustic Doorway Arch looked great on the decking and it makes such a brilliant prop for taking photos with your guests!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved in this photoshoot and to ICPhotographics for taking such fabulous images!
